Personal Project

- Iphone case with character design / Illustration, because of my interest in character design, and would like to further develop my brand on other merchandise, and character stories.
- Plus I just got my new iPhone 5 and don't want it to get stained, dirty or break.
- Use of Illustrator so the design can be re-sized for future use; such as Vinyl stickers for laptops, table tops, or just to stick any where; art prints ; clothes such as Tees, hats, caps etc. and probably use the character design to some day create animations, 3D figures and vinyl toy figures.
- The design is going to edited to specifically fit the two phone colours of black and white versions, but will be designed originally for large scale art print.

I am aiming for a unisex character design style, not too cute, not too masculine but has a strong girl and boy personality. Example traits of Wodam from War of Horn by Madow Tsai - Brave and friendly / quirky	[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

- Steps that will be taken will start from
Searching an array of phone cases that I would definitely use.
Then Search for art styles from designers, and illustrator artists that I admire.
I'll be building character design templates and choose the best I feel appropriate.
Then decide a concept for the iPhone case , drawing my character in different poses and scenarios.
I would probably have a final two designs by the decision deadline.
Then use one of these sites to be my main supplier

Finally Illustrating my designs
Colour and tone is the Challenge and obstacle, as well as my learning curve
Then of course publishing it
Buying it or shipping it or advertising it.

I Prefer to hype my online store and get people to buy it off the site directly, cost less for me, AND instant profit, continuous sales, if my marketing is well done, and I continue to have more designs , art works.

Style and Inspiration

Personally, I'm just a fan of creations, I like looking at things people made, drew, filmed, illustrated. In a sentence :I like looking at art, I like artists" I inspire to be one.

I'm very enthusiastic about characters and recently been even more excited to get my own personal projects done due to this latest inspirational artist

I looked into it, and love the simplicity of his works.

Though I'd rather say I admire Madow as a designer because, in the span of 6 years, he has become a very inspirational person and accumulated a lot of experience, as well as created a lot of merchandise for his character.

Anita Mejia - Latina Designer, wonderful detailed decorative, personalised characters and style, I stumbled upon her work in Deviant arts and hooked ever since, she has totally grew as a designer / illustrator, it's just amazing to see her progress

I just aspire to develop my street art / illustrations
but am actually not fixed to it
I would like to work with a character, that could appear in any art form or style that are simplistic in it's appearance, but can also include details that could make a random simple square / cube, into minecraft structures.
