We chose
Handmade Notebook

Reasons :
Our members are interested in some handmade products and have an idea about
decorating daily-life stuffs. After we talk about our target group that is
students and teachers in AIT, we concluded that we are going to renovate some
colorless notebook and decorate with some beautiful materials

Product
Handmade notebook
We are going to buy some colorless notebooks from a shop
and renovate them with some material such as clothes, button and bead.

Firstly, We have to research where we can buy cheap materials but still quality.
Then,We have a discussion. Which material we are going to use because it will
affect the design of a notebook and we do not have too much budget.

The shops that we will go to are Hot dollar, Rejected shop etc.

Next,We buy materials and other stuffs which are necessary.
Making an appointment for making products. Find the time that all of members are free.
In this state, it will take 3-4 times for meeting to done all of the products.
(We have to calculate the money that we used to set the price for the products.)

After that, We have to inform and ask for permission from Frances to sell our product.

Before the day we sell, we have to make a promoting poster to encourage people come to join us.

On that day, we prepare of selling; setting up the place, show product , smile and get some money

Aim
Our first aim is earning money from this project, moreover we want to
show our style of design and make some product curse people feel
good when use it.


Cause
Stationary in this country is colorless and boring. So we think if we
have a lively notebook, we are going to use it more and more and
maybe we will get a good grade. More than that, we already have
some material that can use.



Key Limits
Materials for decorating books' covers are so expensive. This makes
cost higher. A notebook is so expensive as well. We should wait for
discount time. In our group, there are only 3 people, so we have not
much money for project's budget; maybe about $100; Moreover we have
to choose the best time for hold the event. If we choose the wrong time,
we will not earn profit.


Exclusions
we are not going to sell our products outside AIT
and we do not put unnecessary package.

Deliverable
we search for resources and make products. After finish,
we ask a permission and promote the event.
and sell the products at last.

We will design notebooks that pretty ,chic and cool to satisfy the needs of our target audience.
Our target audience are students in AIT both male and female.

In our plans, we are going to buy some simple notebooks from a shop.
So, we will renovate them with some materials such as clothes, button and bead.

Then, we going to find the shop that we can buy the cheapest materials but still high quality.
We are going to Woolworth , Hot dollar , K mart and Rejected shop etc.
After that, we are discussion which material we will use because it will affect the design of a notebook and we do not have too much budget.

Then, we got the result that we researched the design and color of our product are simple, modern, pretty and vintage in the styles. And the color the result are black, red and green.

we are bought some simple notebooks from a Woolworth when it on sale. In this picture

So, we bought materials such as clothes, buttons and beads in reject shop and find something that we can use in our house. In this picture

Then, we have 90$ for our budget.


Aim

In our aim we need to sell out of all our product it will be around 130$.


Cause

we looked a notebook around book shop and Woolworth, Cole etc. but we did not look at the Asian gift shops and markets.


Key Limits

We have budget 30$ per one person. The total is 90$ for our project because we have 3 people in group. And the styles we share the design for 2 styles per one person that we will have 6 styles for notebook.


Exclusions

A overprice I mean we do not need to add profit the price 100% or more.

I went to some shops - Hot Dollar, Woolworth, Rejected shop and Kmart
for surveying the material and equipment for the project.

Today, We are continuously working on the product.
We worked at Game's house in the morning and went to Pink's house in the afternoon.

My duty was covering the notebooks.

In the morning I went to Game's home then I'm making a product in my home on the afternoon.
In my duty I'm decorating a cover.

Game has finished the promoting posters and stick it at the student lounge.
We chose the third one.

I started making the products with my member group in class.

In this morning my friends came to my house to made product.
